Sharp Dressed Win!

The Crusaders Varsity team took the field on Saturday down their starting and back-up Qb’s but uplifted in spirits with the reveal of their new white “alternate/away” jerseys. Tyrome Good and Maxwell Robinson-Grey shared snaps in a game that highlighted the speed and arm strength of each athlete. The defensive game was on point as well as the Crusaders forced several key turnovers that kept the Tennessee offense visibly frustrated most of the game. With a comfortable lead at halftime the Crusaders lived up to their chant of “All Gas, No Brakes” and ran away with a high scoring victory to keep the PFL win streak going.

A “BIG” 4th Quarter Win!

The Crusader JV team needed only one quarter of play to beat the Silverbacks of Tennessee on Saturday 26-14. It just happened to be the final quarter of the game. “This wasn’t the game plan” Coach Ray said after the game, “We made some costly turnovers early but we never gave up turned it on at the end of the game…I’m proud of these boys”. The Crusaders offense had solid drives in the first half only to let them slip away with costly turnovers. Tennessee grabbed momentum with a blown coverage pass and several missed tackles which had them up by 14 late in the 3rd Quarter. The Crusaders answered late in the 3rd with solid scoring drive and never looked back as they rattled of 26 straight points to finish off the Silverbacks in the 4th quarter.
