Carolina Crusaders

A Tale of Two Champions

It was a tale of two champions Friday night in Rock Hill, SC. The defending PFL JV champions came looking to hold on to their 2013 title while the defending 2013 PFL varsity champions looking to 4-peat. Both teams came up short of their quest. The Lake Norman JV team took their efforts into overtime before losing to the Crusaders on an interception in the end zone. The Crusaders varsity team met their match with a powerful Lake Norman Storm offense that scored quickly and often to keep a sizable lead of the defending champions most of the game. Dalton Moon went to the air several times with big completions while John Brock and Brian White hammered the Storm with a ground assault but it wasn’t enough to calm the Storm. Congratulations to the Lake Norman Storm on their big win.

Final Score:

Carolina Crusaders 28

Lake Norman Storm 56
