Coaching Tip #5 – Football Workout

“There is no substitute for hard work.” (Thomas Edison)

“If you’re not gonna go all the way, why go at all?”  (Joe Namath)

Motivational quotes are great if they do what they are meant to do…get you motivated. What it really boils down to is the effort you want to put into anything you do. Most of you, if not all of you want to be a football player. The questions you need to ask your self are: What type of player do I want to be? What are my goals this season? and How much effort am I willing to put forth in order to achieve my goals? Nobody can answer those questions but yourself. One thing is for sure, the effort you put into the off-season will show when we begin our spring workouts which (hint..hint) are coming soon!

Take a look at this video of football related exercises that you can do on your own in the comfort of your home. No weights or equipment are required, just a little effort on your behalf. We will be partaking in every single exercise you see in this video during our upcoming spring workouts.  It’s time to get motivated Crusaders!

“We are looking for 100% effort from 11 young men to play football for the Carolina Crusaders this season” (Coach White, Coach Jensen & Coach Ray)
